Behind the Boxes

70+ Years of Combined Packaging Experience

MKII Packaging - Solving for eCommerce Business

After decades of experience in the packaging industry with a focus on process engineering, the founders of MKII Packaging identified a glaring inefficiency in the eCommerce space. Small and midsize businesses were outgrowing hand assembly before they could afford warehouse-sized fully automated packaging solutions. There needed to be an affordable, reasonably sized solution that would quickly form boxes without requiring an exhaustive capital investment. That is when Nate and Ken put their minds together to design and develop the MTF-50 semi-automatic box-forming machine. This thoughtfully designed, American-made piece of equipment allows eCommerce businesses to build better boxes faster, filling the void between startup and fully automated commercial production.

Building the “Better Box” Business

Nate and Ken spent more than seven years researching the eCommerce space to ultimately design the MTF-50 box-forming machine. The original prototype was developed in 2022 and customer trials began in 2023. The powerful packaging duo is now focused on creating relationships with small and midsized eCommerce businesses that are ready to outgrow their packaging growing pains. Each MTF-50 is delivered by a member of the MKII Packaging team and supported with hands-on training.
